The best way to do this and still achieve the search engine ranking needed is sometimes not an easy task to do.
Start your website with a list of keywords that an end user would use to search for the products and services sold on the website that your building, Making sure those keywords are in place at the top of your web page.
This doesn't mean you should just fill the top of your website with keywords and you'll get higher ranking.
It means that you should think about what end users may type into their search bar to find what your selling.
Consider the content that you have on your web page and apply those keywords that best describe the content on your web page, put those keywords at the top of the page and 5 to 7 keywords in the web page is adequate for the best search engine results.
Keep in mind that more then 5 to 7 keywords could cause a website to be banned from the search engines.
And the keywords should always match the content of web page.
By matching the content of your web page with the Keywords used in the Meta Data Keywords Section at the top of each page it will provide search engines a better summary of the page and result in a more accurate placement in Search Engine Databases.

for people who use prebuilt templates to fill in content of a website in place of actual web design, Because they don't know how to do web design, I know why they do it and I understand and although some look really good, But the problem is when you've finished filling in the content, You really don't understand very much about what you've done, And when you make updates to the content then your lost if anything goes wrong with the layout of a web page, In most cases you can't optimize the website for better search engines results, And if you change the content on a web page then most of the code used before is left behind on a page causing problems you don't understand.
It really doesn't take very much time to learn how to build a nice website from scratch and when something goes wrong, it won't be such a problem to fix!
